 Update 4/30/08

The Marinette County ATV trails officially reopen on May 1, 2008.

Welcome to the Iron Snowshoe Snowmobile Club internet web site!

We are one of the largest snowmobile clubs in Wisconsin with over 130 miles of groomed trails in the Crivitz, Twin Bridges, High Falls Flowage, Caldron Falls Flowage, Silver Cliff, Thunder Mountain, and Crooked Lake areas of northeastern Wisconsin. Our groomed trails stretch all of the way from Crivitz into the beautiful Nicolet National Forest.

The lodging, restaurants, excitement and hospitality of the flowage area and beyond are yours to explore and enjoy on our miles of groomed trails. Also, don't forget about the many events in the area!

Our top-notch groomers help to keep the ride smooth while you enjoy the friendly hospitality and outstanding scenery of our near-north winter wonderland!

Our 30 member businesses put a tremendous amount of time, effort, and money into making this trail system the best it can be. Please support those that support our sport!

 Update 4/30/08

The Marinette County ATV trails officially reopen on May 1, 2008.

Wednesday April 2, 2008

The Iron Snowshoe trails have closed for the season for both snowmobiles and ATVs.

It was a sad day yesterday as April came and officially ended one of the best seasons that I have seen in my many years of snowmobiling here. The big ice base brought us a long season of great trails and outstanding conditions almost every weekend. As far as trails, you can officially put my order in for another winter like this for next year.

Thank you to all of the people that visited the Iron Snowshoe system and all of the positive feedback that you gave us.

Directions to the High Falls Flowage Races and Events
The High Falls radar runs and drag races are held at the Stephenson Town Landing just north of Boat Landing #3 on High Falls Flowage. To get there from Crivitz, follow 141 north to Highway X in Middle Inlet. Turn Left on X and follow it across A, and all of the way to the gas station. At the gas station, turn right, and stay on X. A few miles up, you will see the fire department building. Boat Landing 3 road is about 2 roads up. Turn left onto Boat Landing #3 Road and go south until you see the landing and all of the cars, trucks, and sleds. If you see Popp's Resort while you are on X, you passed Boat Landing #3 Road by just a little bit. There will be signs once you get close.
